Movies With A Twist

Tuesday, June 9 |

Don't you just love movies, I know I do. Today I posted a list of Movies With A Twist on Talent Tuesday.

What is your favorite movie with a twist?

Terminator 4- Salvation

Tuesday, June 2 |

After reading Amusing Bunni's post I new I had to see Terminator 4 Salvation for myself. Gambit was thrilled, and surprised that I wanted to see it. We'd planned to see Star Trek and Terminator 4 but we ran a little behind and did not want to risk of missing the trailers so we decided to see one movie instead. Terminator was the next movie showing so we put Star Trek on hold once again, but the Terminate 4 quickly killed all my disappointment. The movie made me cringe and jump and clap; I looked more like I was a sports game than at the movies. If you want to know more please read Tap The Inner Bad Ass; it's a fun review by Amusing Bunni. I bet she'll have you running to the theater.

Have you seen Terminator yet? What did you think?

Star Trek Trailer (2009)

Tuesday, May 19 |

I really excited to see Star Trek now that there is convincing hype. I am far from Trekkie but I've learned to appreciate this series through my dad and later my husband. Still I was not planning on going to the theater to see this movie, I thought I'd wait for the DVD but so many people who are not fans of science fiction have raved about this movie that I'm now convinced that I need to see it for myself. So in honor of the apparently brilliant movie there are some cool Space Pictures on Talent Tuesday. That's my safe and easy way "to go where no man has gone before".

If you have already seen the movie please describe the experience in one word (no spoilers please). For all the Star Trek die hard fans proudly share your Trekkie's moment.

Some of my Favorite Romantic Movies

Saturday, March 14 |

My husband sometimes gets frustrated with me because I don't have favorites. What I mean is that when he asks me "What is your favorite band?" I can't answer him because I love music so much and I can't put one band above another. I am the same way with most things, but movies are a little easier. There are certain movies that had a huge impact on me. You know the movies that you've watched dozens of times but never grow tired of them. Movies show a new perspective and I love romantic films. It is so touching to be able to watch a love story unfold right before your eyes. Here are some of my favorites.
