Yoga is a beneficial addition to any workout plan. It can help stretch out fatigued muscle, add flexibility to help prevent injury and help with stress reduction. While practicing yoga I've personally experienced a better connection with my body which gave me a boost of confidence. LL&L is focused on Yoga for this Workout Wednesday because I'm feeling a little under the weather. I understand that you have to commit yourself, without excuse, to living well and to a good workout plan. Yoga is something you can do when you need to slow down and give your body a little breather.

I practiced yoga once and after i was relaxed and slept really well.
I'm looking forward to start yoga classes next fall
I have never performed yoga, but i have heard that the affects of yoga are very soothing. i'll definitely try it out sometime...
thanks for the info.

i can't say enough about yoga! i absolutely love it! i was amazed by the mental benefits it provides. not only do you feel refreshed after a yoga class, but your mind is so clear, almost for the remainder of the day. at least mine is. it forces you to focus on YOU and your body, teaching you awareness. i would recommend it to everyone, the key is finding a great location and a great instructor, which may take a little time.
Thanks for following my blog. To show my gratitude I will put your blog link on my blog.

Hey there,
I have practiced yoga in school. I forced myself to take a semester of classes and I never got sick. It was awesome. Unfortuantely, I have not been consistent. My friend is a big yoga buff so I still get back into the flow every now and again. It's a wonderful practice.
Wow that actually seems like something I can do! I always pictured the guys with their legs all twisted over their heads but these seem to be a great start. Thanks!
I've never performed yoga BUT I'd like to. Once I'm free from schools or if I get a long holiday (2 months or so) i'll be heading towards some resort esp the Osho way :D
I'm not into yoga but they do look cute. Lol!
Your Daily Word
I do a mini yoga routine every night before bed. Its like a full body sleeping pill. This comes from a life-long insomniac and classic hyper-ruminator!
@LazyKing- Yoga class :D Sounds fun. Let me know how it goes.
@Irtiza104- My first yoga experience was in middle school and I loved. Pencil in your schedule one day and try it. You never know.
@virgo27- I've only taken yoga as a kid. I think I would benefit from taking a class to help achieve all of the mental awareness.
@Steinar Arason- Your welcome and thank you for posting a link. I really appreciate it.
@The Write Girl- I have not practiced on a consistent basis for YEARS. I thought now would be a good time to add it to my workout regime.
@Court- "...guys with their legs all twisted..." LOL. I've seen pretty intimating poses but yoga includes moves for every experience level. If you don't want to become a contortionist get a good book for beginners. I bought great book years ago but lost it.
@Doson- I think going to a resort sounds fabulous. I find myself daydreaming about spa/meditation vacation.
@Mikes@Your Daily Word- :D And this is where internet communication falls. I envision "cute" being delivered in a sarcastic "girly man" tone or in a sly kind of sexy tone. Both tones made me laugh.
@kiss my black ads- I struggle with insomnia too and completely forgot I use to do yoga at night to help. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm adding that to my arsenal.
Hey I'm so happy that you are back.
I was worried, thank God you're ok. I wish you good luck for everything
Oooh I want to try yoga! I've done yoga video tapes a few times and I want to get back into it. I think it would help me meditate as well as be a nice stretch for the morning! Thanks for the very great and informational post!
